Pierre Mendola is an award-winning French musician and composer for short films, animations, and documentaries.
Notable works include Morning Song by Tiffany Hsu, Sorry For Your Loss by Courtney Karwal (LA Shorts International Film Festival 2025), Grain by Ilana Zackon (Fantasia International Film Festival 2025, Award winner) , Loulou by Marie Medevielle (Cannes Short Film Corner 2023), and advertising campaign for Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival 2022.
He won the Label Compo 2026 of Maison Du Film and collaborates with prestigious schools: Le Fresnoy - Studio National Des Arts Contemporains, Gobelins Paris, ArtFX and ESMA.
Pierre holds a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance from McGill University and won 1st prize in the2021 Montreal International Film Scoring Competition.
