Pierre Mendola is an award-winning French musician and composer for short films, animations, and documentaries.
Notable works include Morning Song by Tiffany Hsu, Sorry For Your Loss by Courtney Karwal (LA Shorts International Film Festival 2025), Grain by Ilana Zackon (Fantasia International Film Festival 2025, Award winner) , Loulou by Marie Medevielle (Cannes Short Film Corner 2023), and advertising campaign for Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival 2022.
Pierre collaborates with prestigious schools: Le Fresnoy - Studio National Des Arts Contemporains, Gobelins Paris, ArtFX and ESMA.
He was part of the Marseille Music & Cinema Festival Masterclass 2025 and a finalist of the Maison du Film Label Compo 2025.
Pierre holds a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance from McGill University and won 1st prize in the2021 Montreal International Film Scoring Competition.
